Who We Are
Nestled in a century-old brick building on 2nd Street in Richmond, Kentucky, Chaggou is a family-run workshop led by artisans who believe every piece should carry a story. Our team saws, solders, hammers, and polishes each design by hand—no conveyor belts, no shortcuts, and absolutely no mass production.
We work exclusively with:
Recycled 925 sterling silver & 14 k gold-fill
Conflict-free gemstones sourced from small-scale miners
Plant-based, plastic-free packaging you can compost or recycle
When you slip on one of our rings or fasten a delicate chain, you’re wearing hours of thoughtful craftsmanship and generations of metal-smithing tradition.

Why We Craft
In a fast-fashion world, jewelry often feels disposable. We rebel against that mindset.
Our mission is to slow things down—creating heirloom-quality adornments that:
Celebrate Individuality – Each stone’s natural quirks dictate the final design, so no two pieces are ever identical.
Respect the Planet – Sustainable materials and minimal-waste processes guide every decision, from the metals we melt to the carbon-neutral shipping we use.
Empower Communities – A portion of every sale funds scholarships for local Kentucky art students and mentorships for emerging metalsmiths.

Our Promise to You
Small-Batch Quality – We limit production runs so we can inspect every clasp, bezel, and bead by hand.
Skin-Safe & Hypoallergenic – Nickel-free alloys and gentle polishing compounds mean even sensitive skin can shine.
Lifetime Care – Need a resize, re-polish, or simple repair? Ship it back and we’ll breathe new life into your favorite piece—just cover return postage.
